Dr. Raymond Lee is possessing a number of “ pioneering ‘qualifications in the
dental academia. Dr. Raymond Lee is one of the earliest batches of graduates of
Hong Kong Dental School where he graduated with distinction in Periodontology
and Dental Public Health. He furthered his studies in the Conservative
Department and obtained the Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Surgery. His third
qualification is the diploma of Member of General Dental Surgery of Royal
College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, England and later he was appointed as an
examiner of this Hong Kong and England conjoint examination. He has been
involving on the design of the specialist training pathway of Family Dental and
obtained the first Fellowship in the specialty of Family Dentistry from the
College of Dental Surgeons of Hong Kong and Fellowship in Dental Surgery from
the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. He is amongst the first registered
specialist in Family Dentistry in the Dental Council of Hong Kong. In 2003, Dr.
Lee has obtained the license by examination from the Health Bureau to practice
in Beijing.
Professionally Dr. Lee has been serving a member of various academic society
including Hong Kong Dental Association, Federation Dental International, Hong
Kong Endodontic Society, Hong Kong Society of Oral Implantology, Hong Kong
Prosthetic Dentistry Society, American Academy of General Dentistry, Hong Kong
Dental Association.
Academically, Dr. Lee was part-time Clinical Lecturer in the faculty of
Dentistry, University of Hong Kong also contributing in undergraduate and
postgraduate education since 1993.
In his dental career, Dr. Lee is the Director and Dentist in charge of the HM
Dental Care Clinic network and Chief Dentist in charge of the Beijing Smart
Medical and Dental Care Center. Dr. Lee main clinical interests are dental
education, esthetic, implant and magnetic dentistry, oral mal-odor treatment,
quality assurance in family dentistry, dental practice training and management.
